For the third season Jack Laird commissioned a new theme from Eddie Sauter, another jazz composer and arranger. Unlike Mellé's moody iterations, Sauter composed a frenetic, headlong scherzo of stabbing accents, perhaps a nod to what was intended as Gallery's more action-oriented design for the third season.
